My wife didn't see the very large, very bright wheel barrow in the garage. Here is the results..
Anyone have any suggestions on finding a replacement bumper cover? I see them on ebay for about 250 painted to "match" your car but I'm a little weary of buying a crap part or paint being way off. Seems to be a pretty common car to be parted out found a bunch within driving range but none with color listed so will be making some calls tomorrow. Anyone know of a good used part locator that i could possible narrow down color choice? Guess i should hit up all the salvage yards while I'm at it. What is a reasonable price for a used bumper for such a boring common appliance of a car?

DUDE THE ONLY ANSWER IS TO BUY BODYKIT YO
GET SOME MAD NICE CHROME RIMS AND GIANT SPOILER, LOWER THE CAR, ALTEZZAS AND LEDS YO
(Uh, yeah... try a salvage yard; they should have it. WHere in NY are you? There are a few salvage yards in Long Island City, Brooklyn, and New Hyde Park. Unless you're in the rest of NY state such as the Catskills, Adirondacks, or Buffalo, etc.

If you value your vehicle, take it to your local reputable body shop and let them make the repairs. You will not be sad nor sorry!

Salvage yard/ totaled car part out is what you should be looking for. Silver is a common color so if you have some patience you should be able to get an entire new bumper with factory paint for not that much money

But its a 2.5 with an auto!! I'd rather throw it away!! But seriously i'm in Rochester know of a couple around here but been a long time since I was in need of a salvage yard. Like I said going to get moving on it but was just curious if anyone had a clever search engine of participating yards or something..

Its a throw away car not going to happen.. And its just a bumper cover not rocket science if I can get the right color not a whole lot stopping the average joe from completing this task.

I'm in a similar situation. I found a place on ebay that does the painted-to-match shindig and they're actually about 70 miles away from me. I looked them up and they're an actual paint shop so I feel pretty confident in them. Cheap price and free shipping helps the decision. And for $250, you can't go wrong. Mine was going to be 450, I've still got to save up for that...soon!

Pick n Pull might be worth looking at.

I suppose you are correct; a minimal repair effort will most likely work best for your vehicle. I (personally) have not had good results with self-applied body work.

I used to fix cars with minor damage for a living, save the hassle, just go to car-part.com you might be able to find a color matched bumper.

Look up a local Certi-Fit, get a cheap cheap bumper, take it to the cheapest place in town to get it painted (hint: they'll speak mainly Spanish), all in you should be good to go for less than $150.
Or duct tape / zip tie stitch it back together (if you have the chunk that's missing in the photo), because battlescars.
